DIGITAL PRODUCER (TEMPORARY)
The Kojo Nnamdi Show / WAMU 88.5
I joined WAMU's flagship local talk program in June 2019 to help them cover for other team members during vacations and fellowships. As digital producer I handled production duties, social media, and web buildouts.
July 2019
A show about D.C.'s CBD product markets, and why local officials were calling for more regulation.
COMMEMORATING TONI MORRISON'S D.C. ROOTS
August 2019
After Toni Morrison's passing, I produced a segment reflecting on her origins at D.C.'s Howard University — and the lasting legacy she'll have on local writers and scholars.

To supplement the show, I got statements from local booksellers and pooled them in a blog post.
ACCESSIBILITY IS EVERYTHING IN
D.C.'S ARTS VENUES
June 2019
A segment on how D.C.'s museums and theaters are trying to become more accessible to people of all abilities, physical and neurological alike.

Supplemented with a blog post I made after a visit to a Smithsonian demonstration of a new app for the visually impaired.
EVENT SOCIAL MEDIA - KOJO IN
YOUR COMMUNITY
July 2019
I ran the official WAMU Instagram feed during an evening field event at the Anacostia Playhouse. Took photos, videos and Boomerangs and pulled live quotes during the event. Stories were viewed by >500 people in 24 hours and are still saved on the @WAMU885 handle.
